Relaxation, to the extreme...
So this was one of those vacation days where you just enjoy the absence of a schedule or things to do. We got up late, Dad made us a nice little breakfast. We sat out on the deck periodically, played a card game or two. I took my nephew Zach out on the big town of North Muskegon, went to Meijer then grabed some Wendy's.... Yep, by now the day was more than half over....
We went to where my sister's horse is being boarded.... They just bought their new place and haven't put in the pasture yet... He is a retired race horse, he's beautiful,
we watched her work him out...
then we grilled some burgers, played cards until late... and now... everyone else has gone to bed.... A very low key relaxing day... It was great, but I'm not the kind of vacationer that only wants relaxing days... the nice thing about being out here for a while is that I don't mind one every now and then... there's plenty of time to play.
Greydon's cough was worse today and he felt crappy.. I'm just being introduced to the wonderful feeling of not being able to fix what is bothering him... not being able to make it better when he is sad for really legitimate reasons really... well it sucks...
I hope he feels better tomorrow....

Hey, I wanted to wish you a happy birthday on Tuesday. When I woke up that morning and thought about what day it was, I remembered it was your birthday and another cousin's birthdays. Hope it was a good one!
Wendy's and then a BBQ? You are in hamburger heaven. Sorry about Lil'G. I know it's sad his MI fam can't see him at his happy smiling best. Glad you can spend time with your nephew. I know I sure love spending time with mine!!!
