At around 7pm I got dinner, still at school and up for 15 hours at that point...hmm almost hitting what, 19 or 20 now...
My point is I almost fell off my cola wagon. Have you ever had the nasty pink lemonade from the fountain, icghk, what is that? So My options were foul nasty watered down pink acid, 7-up, waste the extra money I spent to get the combo by getting water, or 5 to 6 delicious options of glowing, mouth watering caffeine laden head ache solving fountains of youthful wonderment.....
I got the 7-up. Hey my combo included two cookies, I'm not claiming to be healthy here.
After getting an A I totally didn't deserve (why yes, I am bragging) I finally got to see Greydon around 9:30 tonight. He didn't have a good day, but it was expected since he got two of his immunizations...
ok we're going to avoid any immunization debate... it's a done deal...
The shots made him not feel good. With everything that he is going through he really doesn't feel that bad for that long very often. He'll let us know if he's really bugged, but not for very long. So it was sad to see him sad. When I got there he was asleep, peaceful and so very cute on Kristen's shoulder.

It took a while to get him that content so she hadn't moved for 2 and a half hours. I didn't pick him up to hold him, mainly because he was too cute the way he was, but after talking to Kristen for a minute we wanted him to rest since he finally got comfortable.

After a little bit he started to fuss and squirm, he can already push himself back and up when he wants to, he wasn't mad you could just tell he didn't feel good.
I took the opportunity to pick him up. I didn't bother sitting down, I wasn't sure how long he would last, assuming I could calm him down. But I must say I am dang good. Within a minute he was back asleep all nuzzled into my neck. Pure Heaven.
He slept for maybe another half an hour at most then started to fuss. I went over to the crib to lay him down, once I got him happy again.

Got him in bed, which he wasn't happy about at first, but I am good, we covered that, and he calmed down and zonked out.
He had one dose of tylenol because the shots always do this, if he gets too fussy during the night they'll give him another.
His feedings, just to sound like the broken record I am, aren't progressing, I say that every day, sorry, to annoy. But the professionals are starting to purse their lips and crease their brows. The plan is that after he feels better from the shots if he doesn't show drastic improvement they are going to reduce his feedings, possibly making him more hungry and more willing to push himself to eat. He has it easy right now, so we might have to push him out of his comfort zone a bit.
I mentioned my "kids" yesterday, here's a little snapshot of some of them on Monday practicing a rumba step.

I went to the eye doctor because I finally decided to try contacts. I hate the idea of eye trauma, I can't handle even the thought of it, but I have a pair of glasses for things that are far away and I never have them on me. So I decided the time had come.
I went last Thursday, and my eyes had gotten better.. something about astigmatism coming and going. But I didn't get contacts... the doctor reminded me that I am blind in my right eye anyway.... so instead of contacts, I got contact.
They train you how to put it in. I got it the first try... I thought they had mistakingly given me an acid coated shard of glass instead of a contact, but I got it in. After my eye impersonated Niagra falls for a minute or ten I pried apart the swollen redness that was my eye lid and took it back out... just so I could put it back in again. It took me three tries that time, and being ready for the acidic shard feeling, got used to it a little faster. The cool thing about glasses is that you can put them on then off then on then off, then on again to prove you really are seeing better with them. It's weird to just have in the contact, I think I am seeing better. I forgot about putting it in again until today, I go on auto pilot in the mornings and this is not yet art of my drill. So after two tries, the first the eyelashes did their job and kept out the intruder, I am wearing contact today, and saw the board much better for sure. But now it is annoying to be at a computer.
Just call me cyclops... I thought about getting a colored one just to mess with people's head...

Are you saying we are supposed to feel hunger before eating?........ah man :)
Cb2, thanks for commenting on my blog! Yeah, my blog sort of took off the past 3 months. It's been a bit crazy, but I'm all about blog friends, and GUY blog friends! I've hit the mother load!
Glad to see your trying contacts. I didn't for years and years, and now, I don't know what I would do without them.
Looks like a fun blog you have here. I will definitely add you to my Reader and the stalking will commence!
Get a red one. OR yellow would be cool too.
Having had contacts for over 40 years, I highly recommend them. However, if you don't have bifocal contacts, ytou still have to have "reading glasses for up-close stuff, like the computer and reading. Sorry Greydon was so upset but you have to remember, he is trying to do stuff that wouldn't b e required until after he was born full term which is still a week and a half away. Have a great day everyone.
Hey cyclops; I think a purple would be great. Good luck with the contact, our family make doesn't seem to accept them readily.
You didn't even ASK our opinion about the vaccines; the reason they are so scarey is that there is mercury and msg in them as a preservation. You need to read a book call Women Warriors, it's about children who have autism some due to vaccines; i'm not anti vaccines, but let's have a safe one eh?! Same goes for flu shots for the elderly, each dose you get gives you a 10% higher chance of dementia or alzheimers.I don't need any help thank you!!! Love, Muzz
I found some reliable sources that largely discredited the autism camp, I looked into it, promise
