and in English, the word of the day is BOY
In any language we are very excited, mostly because everything measured properly and looked great. I can't say I'm not beaming with the fact that it is a boy, I would've been elated for a girl, but there is something about having a boy, that is just special.
We went and bought a couple of little clothes now that we know what we're having. I love little boy clothes, I think Kristen is mourning the lost opportunity to purchase little dresses and dainty embroidered sweaters. She's not sad, just shell shocked. Everyone was so certain it was a girl. Kristen's class voted that it was a boy, my classes all voted girl. So we should listen to the elderly and the young and ignore everyone else in between. Kristen's grandfather referred to it as a boy, though he didn't claim divine knowledge or anything.
So, happy we can stop referring to IT and start using him and his and stuff.
Fun day
