When Grampa R and Gramma Vickie were here this weekend we kept finding these weird marks on his head...

The other night as I was giving him his 1 am feeding I had to balance everything in one hand and grab the little flip camera with the other, he was just so cute. To balance him my hand was around his neck, so half of the pics look like I am strangling him, promise I'm not.

As I was running out the door I had to take another clip of our reverent little baby, already practicing folding his arms.

He had another doctor's appointment yesterday. I had to be at school, so Mom went with Kristen. Everything looks good. He gained 9 oz. throughout the week and now weighs 8lbs 7oz. He is still on schedule to have his hernia fixed on the 13th. We're looking forward to the surgery since the hernia is getting bigger and we're pretty sure is causing him some pain.
That's about it for now. We are really tired of wires, monitors, and oxygen tubes. The oxygen tube is 50ft long so it's not as annoying, except that it want to catch on everything as you try to walk around. The monitors leads don't stick worth anything so they are always coming off setting the machine off, sometimes with a warning alarm sometimes with the alarm that is supposed to mean "YOUR BABY EITHER ISN'T BREATHING OR HIS HEART ISN'T BEATING" So, that's peaceful. Kristen mentioned to the doc how much we hated the machine with a little "hint hint" tone to her voice. "Yep, those leads don't stick very well" was all she got from him though.
On Sunday Gramma V was watching him and said Kristen and I could both go to church... I really wanted to stay home with him. I mean come on now, I'm not getting through this whole premie thing without one guilt free relaxing no church Sunday. It was fast Sunday so there wasn't choir to run, and I wasn't teaching, so yep, I cashed in my "free parking" pass. I also totally intend to pinch the little guy when Sunday School gets a little slow or if an Elder's Quorum lesson is a little dry and "have" to take him into the hall.

Did Kristen hold the baby in any of the photos?
I love the pictures Jenny took. She IS very talented. And the marks on the baby's forehead are just marks of a well loved baby. You just can't help kissing that baby when ever you are near, lipstick or no lipstick. Get used to seeing them when I am around.
What fantastic pictures. You are one cute family.
I am guessing from the anonymous comment that someone thinks you are a baby hog.....ha ha ha. They are darling pictures, and as Greydon grows you will learn ways to make him cry other than pinching...making his diaper "leak" so you need to go change him and so forth.
LOVE The photos. I love the ones with the hands. K looks HOT!
ok anonymous, I'm going to beat you up, of course there are pics with K holding him, but she didn't like them
Great pictures, but I must say that adorable little baby steals the show in them :) So glad to see how well he is doing... Oh, and by the way you won't have to worry about pinching the little guy, they give you LOTS of reasons to take them out as they grow :)
Love the pictures. K you do look like one hot Momma, and C one proud Poppa!!
(okay, not to self never refer to anyone as Momma or Poppa)
These comments are starting to be repetative, but the pics really are SOOOO cute! I can't believe you just "threw" the backdrop together. It's awesome!!!
Thanks for clarifying the Kristen holding the baby thing, I have to be honest and tell you I thought the very same thing. Imagine, thinking of you as a baby hog!!! You all look so wonderful, great shots and the backdrop? You are so talented, it's great. I leave those same marks on my grandkids, some of the dads get a little annoyed. Whatever, doesn't bother me in the least, I'm with Vicki, grandmas unite!!!
OK!! you sold me, he's a keeper..can't wait to get my hands on him
