Clarification

Ok, I'm hearing that I sound tired and bitter. I'm really really not. Greydon is doing great, it's awesome to have him home.

What I was trying to do was make excuses for not blogging so much right now, and not being in "the blogging mood" I was trying to hurry.

Mom has been wonderful, she happened to be up anyway for todays early morning feeding so I utilized my resources and jumped back into bed for a couple of hours while she took complete care of him. She has been a huge help, we'd be sunk and trying to kill each other without her I think. We even have a lovely festive fall centerpiece now.

It's going to be great having Gramps and Grampa R this weekend, I think I might have to fight for a chance to kiss him every now and then.

Note to self: Quick successive facts machine gun style so I can claim to have blogged interpreted as "bitter and tired". Duly noted.

(Hooray it's Friday!)

Oh, big cool news. One of our good friend couples have been trying for a baby for a while, I think five years? Conversations a while ago included what we had been trying and who we were going to, so they hooked up with our doctor and just told us they are PREGNANT. Kristen could barely contain herself she was so excited for them. Now we also sent two other couples to the same doc, no good news for them yet.

Kristen has to go back to the salt mines on Monday, sad day. I wish I was done with school already so she could just stay home. Luckily she only is going to do half days for a week or two. Still, I'm curious the reaction her students get when they start being fifth graders.

I got my school schedule done for next semester. I will still be teaching from 6am to 9:30 ish, but besides that I have crammed a "full time" credit schedule into just Tuesday and Thursday, so he will only have to go to the babysitter (great friends have come forward) two days a week starting in January. Mom will have to eventually go back home, if she wasn't here now we'd have to take him somewhere everyday, we're so thankful that wasn't necc. especially when he is so new.

So, hopefully this post sounds a little less harried and grump-ridden. Things really are going well. I still wish I could snort him like cocaine, he is addictive.

Not bitter, just tired, and rightly so. You two have been under an inordinant amount of pressure and stress the last few months. I'm really glad your Mom can be there for you. I just really wish it was me that could be there. We will see you more often than your parents, so it all evens out. Have a happy Halloween, please post a picture of Greydon in one of his Halloween onsies.(I think he has about 12 doesn't he?) See you all tomorrow!!!!!

Guess what...if you need a break from blogging you TAKE it! We all know you have better things to be doing than worrying about what all your cyber groupies may be thinking.

Go sleep with that baby in your arms, watch poorly written television or eat until you are sick. Forget about us!

We will be here when you get back.
