Africans need my shoes, and I'm segueing around UVU

So yesterday someone left a note on our door with a white bag and a flier that said they were collecting unwanted shoes to send to Africa.

In today's world I instantly tried to figure out how this scam was meant to steal my identity, charge fraudulent charges on my credit card and endanger my security. I couldn't see hidden danger, so we filled up their bag and a much bigger bag of our own. So now the bags are off our front porch, the bottom of our closet is somewhat cleaner and I get to feel charitable.... not too shabby. I hope the shoes really go to a good cause, what a great effort. Kristen said she hoped there were some African women with really big feet, I told her not to worry, most of her shoes look like men's shoes anyway. (and she didn't even hit me!)

Greydon rebounded a little on skill acquisition today. The Dr. is considering putting him back on caffeine for a little while to try and help the swinging oxygen needs.

He was calm and cute this morning, he didn't even fill his diaper while I was holding him.

Tonight I had to stay at UVU pretty late while meeting with one of my groups working on a group project. A security older guy came by on a segue... I totally interrupted my group and asked him if I could try to ride it. He said yes, and taught me how to use it. It's pretty darn cool, I loved it. Totally random, but isn't that what life should be about. Who wants to always know what is coming around the corner anyway...

I hate any minute not being with Greydon though. Kristen came home and told me all of the cute things he did tonight and I felt utterly robbed and dejected. I wonder if Lehi will be totally opposed to my teaching with him always attached to me in some way...

It's just so cool that you're working on getting him home. Talk about answers to some prayers... And make sure to pass that amy email along too. Oh not sure what happened to my blog my hosting account went boom so we'll see if it comes back.

Kristen's a nicer wife than I am. I would've hit Landon after a comment like that! :)

Wow! Points for Kristen! She must be saving up bonus points for something big...maybe she'll decided to refill the bottom of your closet with new shoes for herself....after that she deserves it! :0) I'm glad Greydon is improving! I can't wait until you bring him home and I can see and hold him!
