Heavenly Father must be a photographer, or a scrap booker, or just wants everyone to wash behind their ears

After a great chance to see little Greydon's face, take some pictures and scrub some nasty stuff hiding behind his ears that the hood hadn't let us clean, today he is back on the c-pap.

His morning chest film was even more hazy, meaning that more of the little lung sacks, that have a name I don't want to figure out how to spell (flashback to High School AP Biology), are not filled up properly. It comes across looking hazy because on an x-ray air comes across as black, so everything else is shades of not black. Closed sacks have no air, they come across as hazy.

It was very difficult watching them put him back on the c-pap this morning. He was crying and was in pain and we hated it.

The nasal cannula was also distending his belly, so they weren't gaining the ground they wanted to by switching to it, so after seeing the film they decided to switch back.

We both got to hold today still. This morning was rough, and I had to leave sooner than normal because it is the first day of UVU, but I'm glad I got to see him between Lehi and UVU, only seeing him tonight would not have been enough for me. It was good for Kristen to hold this morning, she was pretty tore up about the c-pap.

After I got to hold tonight we did another water bath, which he still loves. Then we got him dressed, and back to bed and it's already late at night again.

We are concerned about his weak lungs and distended bowels, but the medical staff isn't panicking yet so we try to fake confidence and pretend to be calm. His belly was more distended tonight than it had been in quite a while.

We are thankful we were able to get clear face shots of him for a day or two, especially for his 1 month birthday. The special timing of the little things has been fascinating to notice and appreciate.

This is just more roller coaster moments that will mark his entrance into the world. It's hard to be patient, but I know things will work out for everyone. He is just so cute, it's just hard not to be able to see his face. Big, deep breathes, Greydon

He is getting more handsome everyday. Bet you never thought you'd be bloging about poop. The joys of being a parent. We all do it. I love his outfits, he has already grown so much.
