We got Kristen home, she has only been on Motrin for pain, it started to wear off before we got home, so she winced every now and again, but that's all.
Greydon isn't back on feedings yet, there is still some bile coming up and some "old blood" coming with it. The blood is coming in little brown flecks and might be from an irritation in his stomach, or might be from when they put his feeding tube in, it could even be from when he was born.
Some nice people helped get the house back in order before she got here, I am so thankful, it made me feel so much better about bringing her home. Kristen's friend Crystal came all the way from CO to help out getting her home and situated for a couple of days, which is so ridiculously nice I could just spit.
I'll put up some pics from checking out and hanging with Greydon. I put my wedding ring next to him for some size comparison so I can pull it out 15 years from now and show him.
The light is the "billy" light which helps with the jaundice, but we'll claim it is a little light from heaven and he is glowing like all perfect little angels :) (barf)
His chest x-ray this morning looked good, they're watching the bile and the blood, his oxygen is still good. Often premies will work really hard and breath on their own and after a few days it's like they have been doing a Jane Fonda workout and they get tired.... so we wont be too surprised if he needs to get tubed again, but so far he is breathing on his own.
Here are today's pics.

LOVE The photos. We are out of cell range and the computers have been down since yesterday. I was happy to see Kristen and all. I am missing you all and don't cry as MUCH...but then again we are headed back now. Can't wait to see you three. Have fun with Crystal. We are having fun with her folks!

Hello Kristen!
It's me, Ashley Patterson, I just heard from Ann Bigelow about all the happenings in the past few days, and she sent me your blog link... Greydon is so precious and I hope you are doing well on the recovery (looks like it)! We will keep your family in our prayers... take care!
Love, Ashley
absolutely loved the pic with Greydon hanging on to Dads' finger; I sent a copy of it to Amy & Jeff and to great grampa Kuerth and entitled it "Gimme that finger, yummy!!"
This is quite a roller-coaster ride of emotions and all; these are the things "they" say make us grow.....
How awesome you're reading to him already; don't worry about him not remembering the book, same thing is happening here, we're at that age when we only need two books in our library because we can't remember if we've read the other one or not!!Love, Muzz
