He has kicked her a few times today.
Today was the song day, I felt like it went well.
There are two ways people get compliments after doing something like singing a solo. One way is that the people who happen to be walking next to or towards them feel obligated to say something nice. This was luckily not the case after sacrament meeting. Many people went out of there way to say something very nice. We were standing talking to the wife of our home teacher about bringing us dinner and playing a couple of games on Monday, and people went ahead and interrupted the mini conversation to say something kind. Kristen said it sounded really nice, she knows I hate fake compliments, so I trust her. I'm glad I did it. Lynne was kind enough to accompany me. A good accompanist makes all the difference; Lynne is an incredible accompanist. She left after the song before the meeting got out, since she had already gone to church once today. Many people said how wonderful she played.... I couldn't agree more.
After sacrament meeting we went over to Kristen's grandfather's rest home to let him know our regular Sunday visits were going to get messed up for a little while. Kristen wanted to tell him in person. It has been very satisfying visiting him every week, something that was much harder to do when we lived on the other end of the county.
After getting Kristen situated back in her jail cell I ran back to priesthood, since I'm teaching next week I figured I should at least show my face. Then I ran choir rehearsal, and they did so great, even the a cappella stuff! After that I ran over to a different church building to go to the young single adult correlation meeting, then got home just as Angela was setting the table with a lovely dinner, including chocolate cake and a nice peaceful game of phase 10. So nice!.
It was great to have Angela do that for us and visit for a while.
Tomorrow is another hospital day. We're thinking we'll throw some sugar at Wolverine before we go in this time to if he seems less comatose.

Thanks Calvin for the post and for taking such good care of Kristen. I really don't like being this far away, but I doubt there would be much I could do if we were there. We'll see you on Thursday and I can do dinner that night. Love you.
Thanks for the shout-out. Phase 10 was only non-stressful for K, who WON THE GAME. I was pretty stressed the whole time as I sat there LOOSING!
Why does it sound weird when you call me Angela?
We're sorry to hear about all the added stress/complications. Hang in there. We'll stop by and see you, with permission of course.
the pains of having to stay home. At some point in our lives we enjoy staying home, but when we are told to stay home it's annoying. I would love to come play games, Tom isn't much into it so when you need another player let me know!!! Just think, Kristen can get caught up on Painting with Bob, and Wheel of Fortune!!! Best of Luck! Thanks for letting me use your yard.
PS I don't like jus being a c!!!
I am not sure if a visit from my fam would be too much too handle:) We could have a relaxing game night though. Thanks for keeping us posted
dropping your kids off, that'd be too much, as long as you don't expect Kristen to care what they're doing then bring then come on over
