Apparently if a pregnant woman suffers from high anxiety the child is more likely to have learning disabilities..... I have hence stopped a few of the actions found on my list "Things that do not make Kristen happy".
I perhaps insured that my friend Scotty is going to have one dumb baby by admitting to his wife that we had a little practice session for Scotty to relearn how to drive after going to the movies.... I think her blood pressure went up a little.
He did surprisingly well, a little friendly reminder to stay on the road and a strong suggestion that taking the corner without slowing down A LOT could be less than enjoyable, and all was good. He's trying to learn how to deal with the loss of depth perception (which I feel qualified to help with just a bit) which is I think why he didn't always slow down as soon as normal and passed his driveway all together.
There is a website that is having a competition, the winner gets a free home makeover. You vote for who you want to get the makeover. I would recommend going and reading their (Scott and Amy and kid's) entry, Amy did a great job with the story and a very touching video/slide show. My favorite is the picture of their son feeding Scotty before Scott could do it himself.
You can look at it without voting, if you want to help by adding your vote for him to get the makeover (he has to crawl to get to his or his kid's bedrooms because the house isn't handicap accessible, he also has to crawl to get into the bathroom and can't use the kitchen) you have to register, it's free, they are trying to be a website that you can look up remodeling contractors and subs.
Even if you don't want to vote, take a look at their video, it's great. (warning: you'll vote after the video if you aren't dead inside).
I think this is the link
http://www.americahometoday.com/homemakeover/20
you may have to copy and paste it into your browser, I can't get it to show up as a "link"
I recommend a looksy.
