18 WEEKS!!

So another week down! The baby is starting to cry in there supposedly, even though without air no sounds are being made. So now I feel bad that the fetus is uncomfortable enought to want to cry. Maybe I'll try rocking the baby to sleep by rolling Kristen back and forth and back and forth and back and forth in a steady rhythm. At 18 weeks Kristen is on schedule with more heartburn, so she might not enjoy this approach. They say the baby is "practicing" crying..... there are some things I would be ok with the kid not perfecting.

The ears are also standing out fom his/it's/her head, making it much easier to wear cool sunglasses later but limiting the cool halloween effects we could create if they stayed flat.

My bro went into the hospital, with his wife who is scheduled for a c-section on the 19th, things look like they are going earlier than planned.... If they have a c-section early, is it a B - section? That would be one heck of a scar to recover from if so.

Friday night was the LHS dance concert, it was great. I was running around like a mad man, burning off the fries and frosty I used to recover later after it was all over. The kids danced great, but more importantly they had a lot of fun performing. Some of these kids don't have an excuse to get up on a stage and be applauded very often. I love being able to give them that opportunity.

I brought my middle shoolers up to perform 3 numbers, they had never performed these numbers before... they did wonderful!

We didn't charge admission, we wanted everyone to feel welcome. At the end we said we'd accept donations if they wanted and had had a good time... let's just say we were very impressed and surprised with what we totaled out at. I told them we would accept all denominations, watches, jewlery, car keys... we actually got a watch! I laughed pretty hard.

Funny. All of it. Especially my vision of you rolling K back and forth. I am sure she would be DELIGHTED. That would give you a segue into hormones effecting mood.

Good job with the dance stuff. K said it was really great. Wish I were there. Congrats.

Congrats on the concert! Every kid needs to feel like an applause is just for him/her. Let me know how the rocking turned out... I think no, I know I would probably KILL Mike if he started to try to roll me back and forth. I already feel like a whale when I am prego and the rocking would only enhance it! (FYI stay away from any possible whale movements you will be much better off!)

You're too funny, an old fashioned rocking chair does the trick sweetie! The concert sounds great, good for you!

Please don't roll her back and forth. Because when she gets up she's going to kick your butt. Anyway that is too funny. Thanks for all of the photo tips.
