Warning; "Third Time" often not such a charm

The average song lasts between 2 to 3 and 1/2 minutes. When that song is a great song that you just love, you can't help but listen to it more than once. It was proven to me again last night, that listening to any song for the third time in a row can have dire consequences. A lesson I apparently refuse to learn.

After a wonderful steak dinner, Johnny Cash singing about red-eyed cattle being driven across the ragged sky by damned ghost riders seemed a perfect auditory choice. Refusing to learn from past experience I re-played that song and made it to the ill advised third listening.

(You have to watch this clip, it's great, even though the first minute is a little slow.)

I regretted said choices the remainder of the evening. As I got ready for bed Johnny was still crooning in my head "Ghost Riders iiiiin the skyyyy."

Lying in bed, listening to my heart rate, going through calming breathing exercises getting close to being relaxed enough to doze off... and then BLAM !"YIPPY Eye oooooooh, YIPPY EYE aeeeeeeiiiiaeeeee"

This morning as I have been getting ready, he's still there telling me that I'm going to get caught in that round up in they sky if I don't change my evil ways.

The sad part? I am completely planning on playing it again on my way to work. Perhaps Mr. Cash was into subliminal messaging and we just didn't know it.

"YIPPY Eye oooooooh, YIPPY EYE aeeeeeeiiiiaeeeee Ghost riders in the skyyyyeeiiii!"
